An arcade game from the endless runner genre, developed by the independent studio Umbrella. The protagonist runs down a crumbling, randomly generated hill and he must stay alive by performing as many moves as possible. However, this is hindered not only by various traps, but also animals and drivers that cross our way.

Down the Mountain, released on iOS and AND, is an endless runner with infinite gameplay. The production was developed by an independent studio Umbrella, associated primarily with the successful Boom Dots. The title is available in a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions.

Mechanics

In Down the Mountain, inspired by the classic Q*Bert, we play the character descending down a collapsing and randomly generated slope. The goal of the game is, of course, to make as many moves as possible before we are absorbed by nothingness or fall into one of the many obstacles.

These traps play an important role in Down the Mountain. We are disturbed by rapid streams, trees, spikes protruding from the ground, lava coming out of the mountain, mines, animals inhabiting the slope or cars.
