Double Agent is an arcade game produced by Flair Software studio, which in many ways resembles the famous cycle of Spy vs. Spy, celebrating the greatest triumphs in the mid-eighties of the last century.

The program allows you to play the role of a secret agent, who has twenty extremely difficult tasks to perform, usually related to the acquisition of valuable documents or cash. In each scenario, the player is locked together with three rivals in an object consisting of several rooms, where he starts an exhausting search. The objects required by the program are hidden in various places, e.g. flower pots, desks, cabinets, etc. The objects required by the program are hidden in various places, e.g. in flower pots, desks, cabinets, etc. Time plays an important role in shaking up homes and offices, because the competitors trampling on their heels do not sleep and at all costs try to complete the mission in front of the main character.

Fortunately, opponents can be disposed of with the help of items available in the inventory. Apart from one offensive weapon (rifles with eight missiles), agents also have explosives, bowling balls, stun guns, etc. Most traps are placed in searched objects, such as cabinets, because it is there that they do their best, killing enemies who are unaware of the danger. Some of them can be used in any place, as is the case with a safe falling on the head. The elimination of agents is of considerable importance for the development of the situation, as each of them has a limited number of additional "live". If we manage to make enemies lose all chances, it will be child's play to complete the task.

A huge advantage of the prototype was the rivalry in two people on a split screen (so-called split-screen). Double Agent also offers this possibility, but the authors did not show off on this issue. In addition to user-controlled agents, computer-controlled opponents always take part in the game and often interfere with each other's extermination. The lack of the option to disable the remaining players from the game is a major drawback of the program.

The game offers nice, cartoon graphics in low resolution. The music reminiscent of old spy films has a positive influence on the climate of competition between secret agents.
