Adventures of a good warrior Svejk is the title of an adventure game prepared by the development studio Lazy Games under the watchful eye of the Russian publishing company 1C. As you can guess, the plot of this book is based on the popular anti-war novel by the Czech writer Jaroslav Hasek, The Adventures of a Good Soldier, Sheikh during the World War II.

The action of the game takes us, of course, to the territory of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy from the First World War. The main character, the good-natured Jozef Svejk, waking up one morning learns about the murder of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand. From that moment on, his great adventure in the arena of war begins, full of characteristic, ironic dialogues, drawing on the full handful of their literary original.

From the graphic point of view, the game looks quite decent - in the prerendered locations move three-dimensional characters, which were designed on the basis of Josef Lada's illustrations, which practically shaped the image of Svejk in the readers' minds. The control system is a classic and proven "point & click".
