Doors of Insanity is a mix of turn-based strategy and cardboard. The game was developed by OneShark studio, which also has games such as Great Hero's Beard in its portfolio. The release was taken up by Another Indie.

Plot

Doors of Insanity takes place in Purgatory. During the game, the player takes control of the hero he created, whose goal is to get to paradise.

Mechanics

The core of the adventure in Doors of Insanity is the exploration of a purgatory divided into four segments. In each of them there is a certain number of doors behind which there are enemies. Going through them means starting a fight. During the skirmishes, a player gets 5 (out of a total of 70 available) random cards every turn, which can support his champion's stats, deal damage to enemies and summon one of 7 allies. In order to successfully complete the fight, a player must constantly adjust his tactics. In addition, the victory is rewarded with new equipment that improves the statistics of the player-controlled character.
