Another part of Talonsoft's popular strategic series "Campaign Series". The game continues the good traditions of the series, taking us this time into the realities of the great armed conflicts that took place in the Middle East between 1948 and 1973.

Divided Ground: Middle East Conflict 1948-1973 is another part of the famous strategic cycle Campaign Series, created by Talonsoft. The game continues the good traditions of the series, set so far in the realities of World War II. This time, however, the creators took part in a workshop of the great armed conflicts that took place in the Middle East in the years 1948-1973.

In the game we have the opportunity to take part in a series of historical battles that took place in the Middle East between Israeli and Arab armies. These include the Yom Kippur War, the Six-Day War or the War of Independence. Traditionally, in the case of TalonSoft games, we can opt for any side of the conflict. Contrary to appearances, the choice is very important, because each side is characterized by different combat tactics, equipment and technology, which poses completely different challenges for players.

Authors have prepared four major war campaigns and 22 independent scenarios, located in Egypt, Israel, Syria and Jordan. A wide range of real military equipment such as airplanes (P51D Mustang, F-4E Phantom II or MiG 17), armoured weapons (M48A2 Patton, T-62 and M60), anti-tank missiles, vehicles equipped with rocket launchers (Frog 3 or Frog 5), anti-aircraft weapons and missiles (ZPU-23 and Stinger) has been put at our disposal.

A modified graphic engine, used in previous versions of the game has been used. Carefully designed maps reflect approximately 10 km of actual terrain. Each battle takes up to two hours of gameplay, divided into 6-minute rounds. Apart from traditional computer games, the creators have also prepared a number of multiplayer options. We can compete with friends on one computer or via email. On the other hand, through the local network or the Internet, up to 16 people can take part in the game at the same time.
