Story

One of the characteristic features of King's games is a simple, cheerful and casual storyline. The same is true of Diamond Digger Saga, which tells the story of Diggy, a cheerful creature with a treasure map. The player's task is to help him dig out all diamonds and other precious stones from the ground.

Mechanics

Diamond Digger Saga is a simple puzzle game, which consists of pointing out groups of elements of the same color. Seems like not much, but at each level we have a limited number of movements, so in later, more difficult stages, we should anticipate the future and carefully make subsequent decisions, so that the stones form the largest possible concentrations. In addition, all the time we have to keep in mind the water that we have to discharge from the room through the outlet. Sometimes it is worthwhile to delay this activity a little, for example, to collect gold. All this is complemented by elements helping in the fun, which can be bought for virtual gold, purchased for real money, among others. In the same way we replenish the energy, which, although automatic, requires time.

Technical aspects

Diamond Digger Saga's 2D visuals were created in a colorful cartoonish style. They are pleasing to the eyes, but do not stand out from the competition.
