Best Fiends is an extended "combine three elements" logic game, which also has some of the characteristics of RPG production. In the Seriously studio, we command a group of cheerful appetizers, trying to free the kidnapped families of our wards.

Best Fiends, released on AND and iOS, was developed by Seriously studio. At first glance, the game is a standard representative of the match-3 genre but is distinguished by the implementation of some of the solutions known from RPG games, namely the creation and development of a team.

Plot

The plot of Best Fiends takes us to the world of Minutia inhabited by small creatures. Unfortunately, the harmony of life on the planet is disturbed by a meteorite hitting Mount Boom. As a result of this event, a strange force begins to turn the inhabitants of the planet into villains who kidnap the families of our characters. To get them back, our heroes must grow, gain experience and break through the crowds of enemies guarding the way to Mount Boom.

Mechanics

The authors took full advantage of the solutions used in this type of games - there are bombs that change colors and other power-ups or obstacles. Among the mentioned RPG elements, the most important is the development of characters similar to the evolution known from the Pokemon series. As is usually the case in free-to-play productions, Best Fiends also includes a microtransactions system aimed at facilitating and accelerating the leveling-up process.

Technical aspects

Graphically, Best Fiends looks quite decent, thanks to the combination of 2D and 3D elements. The colors of the game can be associated with a sweets shop, so it is an accurate complement to this fun game.
