Death and the Fly is a platform puzzle game created by an independent development team Independent Programmist Group. The player directs the actions of two characters - Death and Flies, trying to safely pass through the maze levels, rich in puzzles, traps and opponents.

Death and the Fly is the work of an independent team of Independent Programmist Group. The developers' ambition was to create a logical game with unconventional heroes and a large dose of black humour.

The main characters in the game are Death and the Fly. A bizarre couple join forces to pass through challenging and dangerous labyrinth levels. The player directs both heroes, being able to switch between them at any time in order to use their different skills (for example, a fly, thanks to its small size and the ability to fly, can get to hard to reach areas of the board, while death can move larger and heavier elements of the environment).

The game combines the features of a logical game and side-scrolled 2D platformer. The puzzles, which the player has to deal with, mainly concern manipulating elements of the environment, including activating various mechanisms. Additionally, in some situations you can help yourself with spells purchased for coins collected during the journey.
