Deadliest Catch: The Game

Deadliest Catch: The Game is a simulation game based on the license of the documentary series Deadliest Catch, aired on Discovery Channel. The production was developed by independent studios Ultimate Games and Moonlit.

Mechanics

In Deadliest Catch: The Game we play the role of a fisherman who catches crabs on capricious and often dangerous waters of the Bering Sea. Observing the action from FPP, we sit at the controls of a cutter boat equipped with specialized tools like a crane, launcher and winch, which we operate ourselves.

Our task is not only to catch as many crustaceans as possible, but also to catch the most impressive specimens. In order to do this, we have to show cunning, reflexes, the ability to recognize the whereabouts of crabs (near which water behaves differently) or the knowledge of the Alaska state regulations. Due to the fact that not all trophies can be sold without any problems, it is worth looking at them closely - this way you can recognize whether we are dealing with an adult male, a protected female or a young.

Technical aspects

3D graphics in Deadliest Catch: The Game presents decent quality. You can enjoy not only realistically animated water, but also detailed models of crabs and elements of cutter equipment.
