Bassmaster Fishing 2022

Bassmaster Fishing 2022 is a realistic fishing simulation game. The project is based on the official license of the Bassmaster Classic tournament, whose participants compete in fishing for largemouth bass. The game was developed and published by Dovetail Games studio.

Mechanics

In Bassmaster Fishing 2022 we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). In the game, we take control over one of ten professional anglers, such as Scott Martin or Hank Cherry, and we have 8 official fishing spots at our disposal, among which we can find Sabine River and Lake Hamilton.

In order to be successful, we must not only equip ourselves with the best possible equipment (such as Missile Baits, Skeeter Boats and Yamaha engines), but also show off with the appropriate knowledge. An important role is played here by learning the fishing spots (which we can mark on the maps), as well as the habits of fish (depending on the time of day they can be found at different depths).

Game modes

In Bassmaster Fishing 2022 we'll find an expanded career mode, in which we gradually gain fame, taking part in increasingly prestigious events - from the College Series, through the Open and Elite Series, to the Bassmaster Classic - along the way signing more and more lucrative contracts with sponsors. Official tournament announcer Dave Mercer provides commentary.

In addition, an extensive multiplayer mode with global leaderboards and cross-platform features has been implemented.

Technical aspects

Bassmaster Fishing 2022 runs on Unreal Engine technology. The game makes a good use of the engine's features. You can especially enjoy the picturesque and varied locations.
