Days of Wrath is a game created under the license of an explosive film about gangsters, bearing the same title. Its preparation was undertaken by United Coders, known from many programs for Amiga and Commodore 64 studio, transformed in 2000 into Public Relations agencies, and for which DoW was a return to the serious electronic entertainment industry.
Days of Wrath is a game created under the license of an explosive film about gangsters, bearing the same title. Its preparation was undertaken by United Coders, known from many programs for Amiga and Commodore 64 studio, transformed in 2000 into Public Relations agencies, and for which DoW was a return to the serious electronic entertainment industry. The game is available as part of the Xbox Live Arcade service.
The action takes place in Los Angeles and presents the daily affairs of competing gangs. Things get complicated when their clashes are documented by one of the local TV stations. In the game we will lead one of the four gangs, with the goal of "only" becoming the most powerful criminal leader in the area. To achieve this status, we will use violence, extortion, corruption, drugs, money and, of course, weapons.
Each gang has its own strengths and weaknesses - in order to succeed, we have to be careful with the former and use the latter. After the premiere of Days of Wrath, new elements - gangs, cities, missions and items - were made available for download.
