Dawnbringer, released on the mobile AND and iOS, is an action RPG game. This game uses a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by Kiloo Games studio, the developers of, e.g. Subway Surfers, Stormblades and Spellbinders.
Plot
The action takes place in the gloomy fantasy land known as Mournguard, conquered by demons long ago. We play as an angelic warrior expelled from his family kingdom and devoid of wings. We begin a strenuous journey through the ruins of a world abandoned by mortals. His goal is to start an apocalypse, which will burn all evil and darkness from Mournguard. To achieve this, he has to face his own brother, allied with demons.
Mechanics
Dawnbringer, released on AND and iOS, is an action RPG with a large open world. During the game, we explore the land, complete quests, fight monsters, collect items and develop the character using experience points gained during adventures. There is also a crafting system, which allows you to construct new items from raw materials.
The combat system is an interesting element - it was inspired by the Infinity Blade series. The battles boil down to one-on-one duels with various opponents. During battles, we don't have full control over the character - we attack, block, dodge or use magic spells by drawing specific lines on the screen. The key to success is to feel the rhythm of the fight and learn about the patterns of the enemies and looking for gaps in their defense.
