Dangerous Waters Description
Manufacturer of Dangerous Waters - Sonalysts, has played such games as 688(I)Hunter/Killer, Fleet Command and Sub Command, well known to lovers of modern surface ship and submarine simulations and lovers of simulations of present-day military naval activities in the global (operational) sense. The game described here is another proposal of Sonalysts studio addressed to the fans of naval battles and as the first in history it enables command of seven different units (surface, underwater and flying) belonging to the naval forces. Under our control were given: rocket frigate "Oliver Hazard Perry", helicopter "MH-60R Seahawk", patrol aircraft "P-3C Orion", diesel-powered submarine "Kilo class 636/877" and three nuclear submarines "Seawolf class SSN", "Akula I/II class SSN" and "688(I) class SSN". In addition, during the game we will meet with more than 270 different authentic combat units, which are part of the naval forces of 17 countries. Everything has been reproduced in great detail based on data made available by the American Navy Institute.
- Game uses a new generation three-dimensional graphical engine (sea waves, light reflections, changing weather conditions, etc.).
- Advanced physical dependencies. Detailed reconstruction of control models of individual ships or planes, realistic trajectories of missile flight, etc.
- Two extensive dynamic campaigns to pass, where how we finish the previous mission has an impact on the objectives of the next mission and on the course of the whole campaign.
- Expanded multiplayer gameplay capabilities, several modes, including cooperative, head-to-head and the new Multi-station Mode. The latter mode allows several people to control one unit (e.g. each person has a different function on the ship).
- Games contains a set of tools allowing users to create new missions, scenarios or campaigns on their own.
