FPP adventure game with stealth elements, set during the Polish-Bolshevik war. In Cyphers Game we take the role of historical characters whose task is to break Bolshevik cyphers and destroy Soviet armored trains.
Cyphers Game is an adventure game with stealth game elements, available for free. It was developed by Chronospace studio and the Institute of National Remembrance.
Plot
Cyphers Game takes us to the times of Polish-Bolshevik war. The action of this game starts at the end of 1920, when the battles for the railroad junction and technical and supply base in Korosten were taking place. Over the course of three missions we take part in important historical events; playing different characters, we have to break Bolshevik cyphers, ensure radio communication and destroy armored trains belonging to the Soviets.
Game mechanics
In Cyphers Game we observe the action from a first person perspective (FPP). Exploring scenic locations, we perform tasks assigned to us. Completing missions involves solving various puzzles (requiring, among others, operating communication devices from the interwar period). Besides, we often have to work quietly and sneak behind the backs of our enemies.
Technical aspects
Cyphers Game features high quality graphics, thanks to the use of Unreal Engine technology. Trying to recreate as closely as possible the specifics of the realities of the Polish-Bolshevik war, the authors used numerous source materials and exhibits. Game utilizes virtual reality sets.
