Cute Things Dying Violently Description
Cute Things Dying Violently, released on X360 and PC, is the second game by ApathyWorks run only by Alex Jordan. This time, the developer decided to create a logical game with platforming elements.
Mechanics
The main characters in Cute Things Dying Violently are small, friendly creatures who try to get out of the trap-ridden place they ended up in thanks to an angry robot. The player has to help them bypass various deadly obstacles and mechanisms to reach the lift leading to the next level.
The player must show ingenuity in the use of available instruments and elements of the environment, as well as a great reflex because the creatures are characterized by considerable mobility. They also easily get in trouble. The game has 24 achievements - they are most often received by leading to funny situations on the screen.
Game modes
In single-player mode, the game offers 60 levels, the number of which can be increased with a simple editor.
Technical aspects
Cute Things Dying Violently's two-dimensional graphic design is maintained in cartoon style. The events are presented from a side view. The actions taken by the player are accompanied by numerous visual effects, and the death of creatures is accompanied by blood splashing on the screen.
