Crazy Machines: Golden Gears Description
Crazy Machines: Golden Gears, released on PC, AND and iOS, is the next installment of the extremely popular series of logical games, developed since 2004 by the German studio FAKT Software.
Mechanics
The concept of the game has not changed over the years - Crazy Machines: Golden Gears is still based on solutions inspired by the cult The Incredible Machine series. The aim of the players is to create various machines from the available parts and objects - our goal is to accomplish a specific task. We construct "crazy machines" from everyday objects, such as boards, boxes, kettles or magnets, as well as more sophisticated objects, such as transmission belts, bombs or boxing gloves on a spring. The difficulty level of the puzzles increases with the progress of the game. Thanks to the progress, we also successively unlock about 60 different parts and objects.
Physics, simulated by the game's engine, is an extremely important element of the game. Each of the available elements has its own specific physical properties, which, depending on the situation, can be used to solve a given puzzle. What is important is that there is no single proper way to success, and the way to perform the task depends solely on the player's imagination. Each of the available stages can score better or worse, and the game rewards us with points, which we can use to unlock subsequent puzzles. An integral part of the game is a simple and functional editor, allowing players to design their own stages and share them with the community. Crazy Machines: Golden Gears offers cross-platform options, so our levels can be played by both PC and mobile owners.
