Tactical multiplayer action game where players join one of two teams equipped with heavily armed and armored futuristic ships.

Cratered is an unusual TPS action game designed mainly for multiplayer gameplay, and taking place in a postapocalyptic reality. Players join one of the two teams equipped with heavily armed and armored futuristic ships. Each team must achieve the set mission goals, and the tactics and strategy planning must be skillfully combined with arcade elements. In different game modes we have different tasks ahead of us. Once you have to defend your own base to then concentrate your efforts on capturing an enemy flag ship.

All scenarios take place in an unprecedented futuristic-surrealistic environment. For accomplishing a specific mission goal and destroying an enemy ship, we receive a financial bonus, which we can spend on a larger and better armed ship. The standard game mode is "Catch and Capture", in which the team must score all strategic points on the map. In order not to be too easy, each point is protected by a protective shield, which can only be weakened by means of a special device previously acquired, called a Shield Disruptor.

The game uses a very simple model of guiding each ship, so that even beginner players should be able to cope without any problems. What's interesting, the producer has introduced a special technology, thanks to which the players connected via modem have the same level with the players on fast connections. The fast connection allows you to run the server for up to 32 players at the same time.
