Crash Bandicoot Returns Description
Crash Bandicoot Returns is a fan project aimed at refreshing the cult platform game from 1996. Initially, the title was a modem for Crysis, but after switching to the CryEngine 3 engine, it was decided to create a fully fledged production.
Crash Bandicoot Returns is not a remake of the first part of Crash's adventures. It is a kind of continuation of the series, in which all the most important characters appear. Playing this title we will meet Neo Cortex, Coco and Pooh on our way.
The gameplay is based on traveling the world, which is a little more open and offers a little more possibilities than the prototype player. The spirit of fun, however, has been maintained. This is a typical platform game, in which many obstacles are overcome and the opponents jump on their heads (Crash can also attack by rotating around its axis).
The graphic design deserves special attention. Crash Bandicoot Returns was based on the technology of the German company Crytek - CryEngine 3. This engine drives at least the third part of the popular Crysis shooter or Polish production - Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. The new incarnation of Crash has gained high-resolution texture, various lighting effects and new animations.
It was decided to make the game available for free only with five hands, and to release the next ones as an update. The authors wanted the interested parties not to have to wait long for the finished production.
