The first non-standalone expansion for Cossacks 3, a real-time strategy game developed by GSC Game world. The biggest highlight of Days of Brilliance is the new single player campaign, based on Polish history in the 17th century. It allows us to take part in, among other things, the Battle of Klushino and the Battle of Vienna. In combat, we use the characteristic Polish units of the period, including the hussars.
Cossacks 3: Days of Brilliance is an expansion for Cossacks 3, a real-time strategy game for PC. It is a non-standalone add-on so it requires the basic version of the game in order to work. Both productions were developed by GSC Game World – the same team that created the entire series.
Mechanics
Cossacks 3: Days of Brilliance for PC doesn’t significantly change the gameplay mechanics. Instead, it concentrates on expanding the game’s content. The biggest highlight of the DLC is the new single player campaign that is based on Polish history and is set in the 17th century. It lets us take part in, among other things, the Battle of Klushino and the Battle of Vienna (also known as The Relief of Vienna). In these clashes, we use the characteristic Polish units of the period, including the famous hussars. Moreover, we can play a set of five individual missions that recreate the key battles in Europe in the 17th and 18th century.
Cossacks 3: Days of Brilliance also expands the list of playable factions with two new ones, letting us command Danish and Dutch armies. Each of these received their unique buildings, units, and musical themes. The DLC also enriches the remaining nations with several new units.
It is also worth mentioning that the new factions were made available as a part of a free update for the owners of the vanilla version of Cossacks 3. Thanks to this, the developers avoided dividing the multiplayer community.
Technical aspects
Cossacks 3: Days of Brilliance is a standard DLC that offers the exact same quality level as the core game. Fans will also enjoy a large set of completely new music tracks in the soundtrack.

Cossacks 3 is going to receive the first DLC in less than two weeks. Entitled Days of Brilliance, the add-on will feature a Polish campaign and two new playable factions.
