Clive Barker's Jericho is another action game developed in cooperation with Clive Barker, the director of the 1987 motion picture Hellraiser. It was created for modern PCs and consoles (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) to provide high quality audiovisuals and incredible atmosphere, worthy of the best gore movies.
The players assume the role of a member of a special paramilitary squad, which consist of several distinctive characters that are sent in to investigate an abandoned town somewhere in the middle of a vast desert and pacify the dangerous evil running rampant therein.
The team we control features several characters who possess supernatural abilities. Three men and three women comprise the Jericho squad, which is then sub-divided into Alpha and Omega teams. The main protagonist is the seventh member and the commander of Jericho named Ross, who specializes in telepathy. Although he dies at the very beginning, we are given control over his ghost and can possess other people’s bodies. Our subordinates include, among others, a master sharpshooter who can guide bullets with telekinesis and a clairvoyant. Gameplaywise, the key to success in this game is the proper cooperation and combining skills of the characters at our disposal.
