C.I.D. - Criminal Investigation Department

Quite a complicated adventure and detective game, the production of which is the responsibility of the Scandinavian company Pan Vision. The player plays the role of a person employed in the title department and has to solve the mystery of a murder committed earlier. The plot of the game is a strong asset of the program, during the investigation it turns out, among other things, that the event under investigation took place in unclear circumstances. The atmosphere of mystery is additionally intensified by a strange figure of a wolf's head found in the hand of the killed person. The hero has to take into account the passage of time, because there may be more brutal murders. The plot of the game was inspired by the psychological novel "Steppenwolf" by Hermann Hesse. She talked about the adventures of Harry Holler, who one day found a "Treaty on the Steppenwolf". The protagonist found in it an explanation of his dual spiritual nature. In the game you will find numerous references to the events described in the novel.
