Castle Renovator

Castle Flipper is a production on the borderline between simulation and economic strategy. The title was developed by the Cool Tool Studio team, and it was published by the Polish company PlayWay.

Mechanics

The action of Castle Flipper takes place in the Middle Ages. During the game we play the role of a craftsman, whose task is to renovate a newly conquered castle and make a feast for the king who now owns it. In order to do this, we not only have to clean up the rubble and fill in the holes in the walls, but we also have to re-erect the destroyed buildings within them and rebuild the bridges. In addition, it is up to us to take care of the decorations, plant new trees, and to set up furniture, such as the tables and chairs that will allow the ruler and his subjects to devote themselves to feasting after the end of their hard work. It should be remembered, however, that we require gold for all of the crucial works listed above, and the resources of the royal vault are not unlimited. It is also worth noting that while working outside we observe the action from a bird's eye view, and while indoors, we switch to a first person perspective (FPP).

Technical issues

Castle Flipper has three-dimensional graphics of an average quality. The production features a soundtrack stylized on music from the Middle Ages.
