Another installment in a series of brutal and very controversial racing games. In similarity to the original game, what matters the most here, is mainly destruction and running pedestrians over in a spectacular fashion. The game focuses mainly on delivering a multiplayer experience and the players can compete against one another on a lot of unique tracks.

Contrary to its name, Carmageddon TDR 2000 is not a sequel to one of the most controversial racing games ever created – instead, it constitutes a new approach to the franchise. The creators prepared a lot of unique tracks and the game focuses on delivering an on-line, multiplayer experience; the players compete against one another while racing, or rather fighting with use of various car models. Interestingly, Carmageddon TDR 2000 can be hardly classified as a racing title, as the experience is based on fast-paced and brutal action.

Plot

The player assumes the role of Max Damage – though he is a man with a life sentence, the protagonist does not intend to go to jail. He decides to escape, counting on his skill, as he will have to face ruthless representatives of the police department, as well as hordes of gangsters and thousands of citizens with a lust for murder.
