Call of Duty Online is a free (micro-transaction based) version of the modern shooter series Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, created especially for the Chinese market. The game focuses exclusively on multiplayer gameplay, which is well known from the previous parts. There are also special missions available in the cooperation mode, telling a new story set in the Modern Warfare universe.
Activision, the next installment of the record-breaking popularity of the first-person series shooter directed to Asian players. Call of Duty Online, created and published in cooperation with the Chinese publishing giant, Tencent Holdings (shareholders of the League of Legends or Warface Crytek studio, among others) is a production designed exclusively for the Chinese market. Joining the game is completely free of charge, but a micropayment system has been introduced - those who want to join the game can buy new weapons, attributes, accessories, etc. for real money.
In Call of Duty Online the game takes place exclusively in multiplayer mode. Participants of the game, alone or in teams, compete with other players to achieve the goals set out in the rules of the game mode. These, in addition to those known from the previous parts (such as team deathmatch, capture the flag, domination) include new, created with the needs and interests of Chinese recipients in mind. Additionally, a number of special missions have been introduced, designed for the mode of cooperation, during which, as commandos of the elite unit Task Force 141, we get to know the fresh plot embedded in the universe of Modern Warfare.
As always, many types of weapons (from pistols, through rifles and rifles to grenade launchers), accessories, attributes, offensive and defensive equipment, rewards for a series of victims and other, typical for a series of gadgets. Both the appearance of the characters and the characteristics of the weapon and used equipment can be modified. With the addition of mufflers, pulse sensors or various target sight, you can customize your pucket to suit your personal style of play. The fight takes place on maps that the veterans of Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 remember well.
Graphically, Call of Duty Online is not far from the previous parts. This is associated with low hardware requirements, which makes production affordable for a wide range of customers.
