Plot

In Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda, we play as Link or as Princess Zelda. Our goal is trivially simple - to save the kingdom of Hyrule from the opponents that seek to destroy it.

Mechanics

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda is a combination of roguelike, action RPG and rhythm game elements. The player can direct one of the two available heroes - Link or Princess Zelda. It is with their help that he will overcome procedurally generated levels, in which music plays an important role.

Opponents move to the rhythm of resounding melodies. Attacking them is only possible when the appropriate beat can be heard. In addition, each of the enemies has its own unique style of movement. This makes it necessary for the player to develop new fighting techniques at each stage of the game.

In Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda, heroes do not simply rely on basic skills. During the fights, you will use an arsenal of weapons known from The Legend Of Zelda series and spells from Crypt of the NecroDancer, which are unlocked as the game progresses.
