A futuristic action game in which the player takes on the role of a soldier equipped with cybernetic implants, defending the planet from alien invasion. The protagonist performs this task first with a laser sword, and later also with a firearm. The production was one of the last high-budget titles published on the first Sony console.

C-12: Final Resistance is a three-dimensional action game set in a futuristic setting. The game was released in 2001 as one of the last high-budget PS1 titles. The studio SCE Cambridge Studio (later renamed Guerilla Cambridge) was responsible for its development, having already worked on Killzone: Mercenary and the MediEvil series.

Story

Action of C-12: Final Resistance takes place in the distant future, in a world attacked by aggressive aliens who want to plunder the planet from coal resources. The main protagonist is lieutenant Riley Vaughan, a soldier who undergoes the procedure of getting a set of technologically advanced implants. This enables him to hold his ground against the alien invaders.
