Buried in Ice is a first-person survival horror game inspired by John Carpenter's film The Thing. The player takes on the role of Kurt, who was the only survivor of an attack by a mysterious creature on a scientific base in Antarctica. Now he has to face the beast again and save the rescue team.

Buried in Ice is a first-person survival horror, which is the debut game of Liquid Engine Development studio.

Plot

Buried in Ice is obviously inspired by John Carpenter's film The Thing. During the adventure, the player takes on the role of Kurt - the only survivor of a fire in a research base attacked by a mysterious monster somewhere in Antarctica.

The group that rescued the protagonist suspects that it was him who caused the fire and killed the rest of the crew. However, it turns out that the creature, able to imitate the appearance of other living creatures, has also reached the rescue team's base. The player must gain the trust of the group and face the monster.
