A simple arcade game by King. Unlike its predecessors, the game can be played not only in browser, but also on Facebook and mobile devices. The story once again focuses on Stella the witch, whose task is to defend a magical world from the evil cat called Wilbur. The antagonist kidnaps the Fairy Queen and imprisons good ghosts and friendly owls.

Bubble Witch 3 Saga is a match-3 puzzle game released on AND, browsers and iOS. The game is available in a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions. It was developed by King (the developer of the hit Candy Crash Saga), which has already accustomed its fans to the friendly character design, vivid colors and high playability of their titles.

Plot

The cheerful witch Stella and her faithful cats must again defend the magical world - this time she has to face a charming but evil to the bone cat named Wilbur. The sorcerer has kidnapped the Fairies Queen and imprisoned good spirits and friendly owls.

Mechanics

The mechanics of Bubble Witch 3 Saga are the same as in previous versions. The player shoots colorful bubbles into the balls hanging at the top of the board so that at least three pieces of the same color are connected. In this way, we pop bubbles and earn points and bonuses, for example, by releasing an owl trapped in a bubble. We determine the flight path of the projectiles by moving the cursor (or finger in the version for smartphones). Further levels (220 in total) offer new bubbles arrangements to pop, as well as specific missions, e.g. destroying the specified part of the puzzle. However, the player can only make a predetermined number of moves to pass the levels.

Game modes

The game offers entertainment primarily for one player - besides popping bubbles, we can also expand Stella's house. The points received dring the levels allow you to create a dream apartment full of different gadgets. You can also use the multiplayer option to challenge another player to a duel. In the story mode, the player has to overcome the magical barrier created by Wilbur. Fairies and owls freed from bubbles will help in that. In collector mode, you have to clear the board from all the bubbles. You can also focus on trying to shoot down as few bubbles as possible to create a passage for the spirits to help them return home.
