Breeze in the Clouds is a cheerful cartoonish action game staring a corgi. After acquiring powers that let him control weather, he sets out to save the world from pollution and disaster.
Breeze in the Clouds is a humorous action adventure game about a corgi dog tasked with stopping a weather disaster. The game features hand-painted 2D visuals inspired by cartoons.
It was developed by Stormy Nights Interactive, its funds raised through Black Game Developer Fund - a program supporting indie projects.
Plot
Breeze is an extremely talented corgi and the best friend of teenage Diane. The faithful dog easily learns how to act like a human and dreams of becoming a superhero, just like his owner does.
One day he gets a chance to make his dream come true, as he's transported to the world of Tropolis where animals control the weather. Now wielding weather powers, Breeze must face the vile forces polluting the land and find a way to return to Diane.
Mechanics
Breeze in the Clouds is a dynamic game in which we fight groups of enemies and solve environmental puzzles. Playing as an adorable corgi we battle animals representing the forces of nature and pollution, including wolves, platypuses and hyenas. There are also numerous multi-stage boss battles. Over time we'll make some allies who can be summoned to turn the tide in many different fights.
Breeze can rely on his innate canine abilities and weather powers. Summoning clouds can let us ascend into the air, while tornadoes can easily dispatch groups of enemies. Breeze's powers bring different effects depending on the location and weather conditions - for example, summoning rain in cold areas may freeze our opponents.
His skills also come in handy when reaching inaccessible places and solving puzzles.
