BOTS is a free game, and its maintenance is possible thanks to advertisements displayed during the game and the sale of additional items, which we can use to develop our charges.

At this point it is time to bring them closer and, of course, the world in which they live. The title robots (BOTS) are digital workers living in Cyberspace. They are designed to perform a variety of tasks within computers, from virus destruction to data transfer. With the growth of Cyberspace, robots became more and more complex, adapting to changing conditions. After some time, they discovered the possibility of transforming their form, thanks to which they were able to complete their tasks much faster. So they started to look for various spare parts to help them change shape, becoming more and more unique - stronger, faster, more colourful. Unfortunately, despite all these efforts, the robots were not able to perform the tasks that were piling up faster and faster, and sectors full of erroneous data appeared in Cyberspace, which became a breeding ground for viruses that in turn infect robots. Whether or not "good" robots survive depends on you, the player's path.

When starting the game we have to choose one of the three available robots, which differ in speed, strength and skills. Then we set off to fight, selecting one of the modes: Players vs. Viruses, we face viral robots, Players vs. Players, in which we can face robots run by other players and PvP Base Mode, which is a variation of the previous one, but here we have to destroy the enemy base. In the first of the above mentioned modes, for winning fights we receive experience points needed to advance to the next level and funds to improve our robot (some of the opponents may also leave behind quite useful items).

Among the improvements that make our robot gains more combat value are the bodies, arms and even the wings. We can also buy a mini-bot, assisting us during the clashes. We can sell the parts acquired during the fights, or those that we no longer need, thus increasing the amount of our cash. The fights mentioned above are not only a thoughtless use of quite a large arsenal of available weapons, but also the use of the environment for one's own needs. On many maps you can find elements that can be used as a blockade, a faster means of transport or a lift.
