Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep Description
Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep is the fourth and final expansion pack for the second installment of the post-apocalyptic action games, the story of which takes place on a planet called Pandora. The game was developed by an internal team at Gearbox Software studios – the creators of such games like Brothers in Arms and Duke Nukem Forever.
Plot
The story of the DLC is focused around a crazy, thirteen-year old girl who is an explosives specialist. She appeared previously as an NPC in the core version of Borderlands 2 and in one of the expansions – Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage. This time she leads the game along her own set of rules.
Mechanics
Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep’s action is focused on a “table” RPG game named Bunkers & Badasses. It is a Borderlands version of Dungeons & Dragons. Tina plays the role of a game master and characters from the first installment of Borderlands: Brick, Mordecai and Lilith, join the session. The player is just a pawn in their game. The crazy girl controls the rules of the RPG session and she changes them whenever she wants. She spontaneously changes things like the character name, bosses attribute and the layout of rooms that are often filled with skeletons and similar props.
Thanks to the new convention, inspired by the paper roll-playing game Dungeons and Dragons, the adventures in Borderlands 2 became unpredictable. The DLC is filled with humor, which is a characteristic feature of the series, and the old atmosphere was mixed with fantasy motives.
