Arcade side-scroll 2D shooter with platformer elements. Bleed 2 is a continuation of the production published in 2012. Players take on the role of a brave girl named Wryn, who is the last superhero in the world and fights evil.
Bleed 2 is a continuation of the 2012 two-dimensional shooter Bleed. The project was developed by an independent studio Bootdisk Revolution, led by Ian Campbell, who is responsible for virtually the whole game. However, Jukio Kallio (she took care of parts of the soundtrack) and Joonas Turner (the rest of the soundtrack) added their three cents to it as well. The first installment of Bleed was distributed in a circulation of over 120 thousand copies, which allowed the devs to develop a more extensive continuation.
Story
The plot is only a pretext to traverse subsequent stages and tell about the adventures of a certain Wryn. The girl is the only and thus the biggest hero in the world. To maintain this title, she has to fight the forces of evil.
Mechanics
Bleed 2 offers the same gameplay style as its predecessor. It is a 2D platform shooter. The adventure of Wryn was divided into seven extended stages, where we have to face countless opponents and as many as twenty-five bosses.
The game is not too complicated, but it gives room to show off. Wryn, in addition to shooting, must avoid attacks from enemies, including using the ability to slow down time. In addition, she can glide for a moment. These few elements make the gameplay fast and exciting.
Game modes
Bleed 2 offers a story campaign that we can complete by ourselves. However, there is also a co-op mode for two people. It also offers other variants of the game, including Arcade Mode, where we compete for the best results recorded in the world rankings. In addition, the game offers several levels of difficulty.
Technical aspects
Visuals of Bleed 2 have improved, although they retained the same style as the first installment. Wryn is better animated, more special effects appear during the game and the levels have been expanded.

Attack of the Fanboy: 4 / 5 by Maxwell Majernik
Bleed 2 is an exhilarating, tight, and extremely fun game experience. The aesthetic may not be able to keep up with the game play, but Bleed 2 should be played by every fan of the run-n-gun platformer genre.
Pure Nintendo: 8 / 10 by Harrison Milfeld
A colorful sequel that heavily improves on the original's boss fights and presentation, while also giving much-needed tweaks to its shooting precision. Sure, the depth here in Bleed 2 may seem lacking to some, but for those wanting to hone their action-platformer skills, this one is a strong recommendation.
Hardcore Gamer: 4.5 / 5 by Jason Bohn
