BIT.TRIP RERUNNER is a remastered, content-enhanced edition of BIT.TRIP RUNNER, an acclaimed 2011 rhythm platformer. It was co-developed by the original developers, Choice Provisions, and Gamecraft Studios.

Mechanics

BIT.TRIP RERUNNER is a side-scrolling auto runner, starring Commander Video. The protagonist automatically runs to the right through 150 different stages, avoiding obstacles and traps by jumping, sliding or destroying them. Each action creates a sound and we must play to the rhythm of the soundtrack, its tempo reflecting our running speed and the number of threats in our way.

The biggest new feature is the RUNNER MAKER, a level editor. Players can create their own stages, set up traps, obstacles, adjust the soundtrack and share their creations with the community. There's also the Historical Gallery, home to artifacts referencing the original game.
