Bishi Bashi Special Description
Bishi Bashi Special, released on PS1, is a compilation of crazy mini-games testing players' reflexes, created by Konami and released in 2000 in Europe. This version contains all the content of the two productions released only in Japan - the title with the same name from 1998 and its continuation called Bishi Bashi Special 2. In total, the game offers more than eighty variants of fun.
Mechanics
All the mini-games available in Bishi Bashi Special are characterized by very simple and highly humorous rules of play. They use three buttons and require a quick reflex from the player. Among the available "disciplines" one can find such competitions as transforming several aircraft into one robot within a time limit; throwing cake as a bride at guests in a church; shooting uncles from a cannon; eating food as fast as possible.
Each game can be played simultaneously by two players. Bishi Bashi Special also offers the function of creating tournaments for up to eight participants. In the case of an odd number of players, the gap is filled with an AI-controlled bot.
Technical aspects
Bishi Bashi Special on PS1 features simple 2D graphics in manga style. The visuals were created in a humorous and very conventional style.
