Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity Description
Criminal Activity is the first multiplayer expansion for Battlefield: Hardline, an online FPS released on PC in March 2015. It was developed by Visceral Games, a division of Electronic Arts, who also created the base version of the game.
The core of the expansion are four new maps: Code Blue (exclusive night club located on an artificial island next to Miami), The Beat (slums with such locations as gas station and car repair shop), Black Friday (shopping mall in Miami) and The Backwoods (an incredibly big arena located near an old sawmill transformed into a drug manufacturing plant).
Another important novelty in Criminal Activity is a new game mode called Bounty Hunter. The players’ task is to hunt members of the opposite team, although, contrary to the classic deathmatch, the ultimate goal is to collect special coins dropped by downed enemies. What’s interesting, the coins can be left somewhere on the map to lure our opponents into a trap.
Furthermore, the expansion offers four new weapons: the KSG12 shotgun, the SG510, and FAL rifles, and a nail gun. There are also two new cars (lowrider and pick-up) to choose from, two types of ammunition, six headpieces, new radio tracks and a number of smaller things.
Criminal Activity is powered by the very same engine, Frostbite 3, so it presents the exact same graphics level as the original Battlefield: Hardline.
