Battle Bay

Battle Bay for AND and iOS is an online action game with MOBA elements developed for AND and iOS by Rovio – the creators of the famous Angry Birds. The game uses micro transactions.

Mechanics

Released for AND and iOS, the game is a pure multiplayer. Two teams of five play – each player controls a motorboat, chosen from a range of different models, which serves as this game’s classes: the Enforcer is designed for maximal firepower; Defender has a thick armor; Speeder is unmatched in terms of... speed; and the Fixer can mend friendly ships. Before each fight, players can also choose what kinds of weapons they want to use. Among the available tools of destruction are cannons, torpedoes, and granades, and thanks to the posibility of combining different weapons, the possibilities are limitless. The game gives a great freedom in choosing the tactics. There is something fore everyone; both the players who prefer simple methods involving brute force attacks, as well as those who’d rather sneak around the enemy and dealt a quick surprise blow. The authors haven’t forgotten about an upgrade system ether: for each game won, players receive in-game money which can be spent un upgrading the boat. As befits a multiplayer game, social features are also present: establishing a guild, and checking your performance compared with everyone else on a leaderboard is possible here.
