BATALJ PC

BATALJ is a battle oriented turn-based strategy game. This is the debut production of the Fall Damage studio, which comprises many veterans who worked on the well-known Battlefield series including one of the fooundersvof DICE - Markus Nyström.

Plot

The action of BATALJ takes place in the distant future. The game offers only a multiplayer mode and that's why it doesn't tell a traditional story. It features a rich lore background, and each of the available characters has a unique personality and an extensive biography.

Mechanics

BATALJ focuses on battles between two players, each of them commanding a squad. The creators have prepared several dozen standard units divided into three factions (Rusters, Re-Linked and Splicers). In addition, there is a large selection of heroes with unique abilities. We can never have all possible warriors in our group, so the key element in the game is to choose the right squad and their equipment.

Battles are fought in a turn-based system. In order to make them more attractive, both sides give orders simultaneously and then observe how their commands are executed at the same time. Thus, instead of just reacting to rival's movements, we have to learn how to anticipate his moves. In addition, such solution speeds up the pace of the game.

Game modes

BATALJ offers only a multiplayer mode where two players compete with each other. We can play with friends from the friends list or allow the system to choose the right rivals for us.

Technical aspects

The game offers attractive 3D visual design featuring a slightly cartoonish style. Its greatest advantage is the ingenious designs of individuals, especially heroes with each having a unique appearance that reflects his personality.
