Baseball Mogul 2006 is the fourth installment of the rather popular series, launched in 2001 (Baseball Mogul 2002). We are dealing here with a standard manager. This product takes up, of course, the subject of the title sport, which enjoys the greatest interest in the United States. This game has a full license of the most popular American baseball league - Major League. This means, first of all, that all teams, players or stadiums, on which particular competitions are played, appear in the game. The producer has not limited himself to the newer seasons, giving the opportunity to lead the legendary teams of this sport. Sports Mogul Inc. is responsible for the preparation of the game. This producer also releases another manager - Football Mogul. This product was created solely for the needs of a single player.
There are a number of changes in this game to distinguish it from the previous titles in this series. The list of novelties includes, among other things, the ability to negotiate contracts with players of their choice. This process is now taking place in a more realistic way. The management system for smaller leagues has been improved. The player can also look at players' profiles in more detail. All other options, such as training, ticket pricing and player exchanges, are left virtually unchanged. Generally speaking, you can say that all the options you would expect from a typical manager appear in the game.
The presented product is unfortunately very demanding. The fact that you can choose between four difficulty levels (Fan, Coach, Manager and Mogul) is of little help here. First of all, there was a lack of a fully-fledged tutorial, which was replaced by a huge encyclopedia of knowledge about the presented sport. It is worth noting, however, that at any moment of the game you can accelerate the passage of time, jumping to the next part of the season.
