Plot
The story in Axiom Verge 2 is designed in such a way that knowledge of the previous part is not required. This time, the players, using the elevator located in Antarctica, move to a world resembling an alternative version of the Earth, where the ruins of a fallen civilization are located. The whole world, however, hides something that is ready to kidnap the protagonist.
Mechanics
The gameplay in Axiom Verge 2 is based on the same mechanics as the previous installment. The player travels through the subsequent locations, defeating enemies and avoiding traps. A wide range of weapons is at the player's disposal. In addition, as the fun progresses, we will come across urns which, if broken, will enable us to acquire new skills.
Technical aspects
Axiom Verge 2 features two-dimensional visuals inspired by classic NES games such as Castlevania.
