Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle is the complete edition of Attack on Titan 2, an adaptation of well known anime series. The additional content introduced in it can be obtained by owners of the original version by purchasing a package titled Final Battle Upgrade Pack. As in the case of the 2018 original, the game was developed by Omega Force.

Plot

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle takes us on a journey into a fantastic, post-apocalyptic world. After the gigantic Titans appeared, humanity found itself on the verge of annihilation. Those who managed to survive are protected in fortresses surrounded by walls, and their last hope are specially trained warriors facing the giants.

Although the original Attack on Titan 2 presented the events of the second season of the series, Final Battle was enriched with heroes and missions taken from the third season.

Mechanics

In Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle we observe the action from TPP. The mainstay of the game are fights against the eponymous giants, which are eliminated with the use of melee weapon (in this version the authors provide us with additional tools of murder, headed by the weapon called Thunder Spear), gradually depriving them of limbs, in order to knock them down to the ground and kill them. It is worth noting that because of their gargantuantuan size, most of the time we spend in the air, thanks to the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear. Of course, the Titans do not remain idle and try to crush or grab the protagonist; for this reason, during the skirmishes we should be constantly on our guard, so that if necessary we can quickly perform a dodge.

During the breaks between duels we can visit the hero's settlement to improve or repair his equipment, teach him new skills, as well as talk to NPCs (some of them have side tasks for us).

Game modes

Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle can be played solo or with other players in online collaboration mode.

Technical aspects

Three-dimensional graphics of Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle can be liked, as they are maintained in the manga style known from the original. In addition, actors known from the original provide voices for particular characters.
