Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is a fantasy jRPG, part of the Atelier series. This installment, and all previous ones, was developed by Gust studio.

Plot

The game is a direct continuation of the games Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy and is the culmination of the trilogy.

Once again we play the titular alchemist named Ryza, who in this part is already an adult woman. The plot revolves around the sudden appearance of an archipelago of mysterious islands that threaten the safety of the heroine's homeland. Ryza, along with her friends, will have to neutralize this danger, which will require her to find the keys that allow her to get to the very roots of alchemical magic.

Game mechanics

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key expands on the ideas of the previous parts. So we get a jRPG in which we explore the world, complete quests, develop characters and fight using a turn-based skirmish system. Eleven characters can join the player's team - many of them are old friends of the heroine, but new faces also appear.

A special feature of the series is the heavy emphasis on crafting, having here the form of an alchemical system enriched with numerous mini-games. The game offers a rich set of ingredients and recipes, with the help of which we brew various potions and create magical items.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key focuses more on exploration than previous installments of the series. The world is large and consists of a series of interconnected maps that we can freely explore.

A new feature are magical keys acquired during the adventure. Some of them we find during adventures, and others we create on our own. They have a variety of uses during exploration, combat and in the crafting system.

Game modes

The game allows for solo play only.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key features attractive three-dimensional graphics made in a full-color cartoon style modeled after Japanese animated productions.
