Softpedia: 8.5 / 10 by Cosmin Vasile
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles is a complex and engaging dice builder. The universe is interesting, even if the lore is mostly expressed via gameplay and presentation. There are a ton of dice to choose from as players build their own playstyle around their favorite hero.

Astrea: Six-Sided Oracle presents an interesting new combat system that creates complex scenarios for you to navigate, if it weren't for the not yet perfected balancing that at times makes things more straightforward than they should be.

A dice-based strategy title with some challenges, but lacking in the depth and refinement of some of its peers
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles Description
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles is a roguelike sort-of card game, in which rather than a deck of cards, we create a set of dice with various properties. It was developed by an indie studio Little Leo Games and published by Akupara Games.
Plot
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles is set in a fantasy universe - in a star system once inhabited by advanced civilizations. Watched over by the Oracles blessed by the system's star, these communities grew, living in peace and harmony.
This all came to an end when the system suffered The Crimson Dawn Cataclysm. Chaos overtook the system, its former power crumbling. After eons, the Oracles' descendants set out on a journey to save the system from utterly collapsing.
Mechanics
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles has us playing as the Oracles, traversing the world to save it from destruction. Some characters are magic-focused, others prefer physical strength.
The gameplay revolves around turn-based combat. Rather than play cards, we roll dice, their sides being covered with symbols of various actions, which let us take specific actions or use abilities. There are hundreds of dice available, divided into three groups: safe, balanced and risky. We can also edit the sides of individual dice to adapt them to our needs and playstyle.
Luck plays a major part in the game, but to succeed we must also use our abilities wisely. The game's damage system is rather unique; we can use Purification powers to heal ourselves or damage enemies, and Corruption powers which damage us or heal enemies. Although the latter seem worthless, using them wisely unlocks some extremely powerful abilities that could easily tip the scale of battle.
As we progress, we acquire new dice and blessings that provide us with various passive skills. We can also field Sentinels - magical constructs to support us on the battlefield, as well as encounter random events and locations that could affect our run.
Game modes
Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles only supports singleplayer. The game features a whopping 16 difficulty levels.
Technical aspects
