ASTRA: Knights of Veda

ASTRA: Knights of Veda is an action RPG game distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions. The game was developed by the South Korean studio FLINT, and its release was handled by the company HYBE IM.

Plot

The action of ASTRA: Knights of Veda is set in a fantasy universe, specifically on the continent of Planis, which has lost its former glory under the rule of the "Mad King" Magnus. To make matters worse, the army summoned to overthrow the tyrant was annihilated with a dark ritual, and its members - transformed into bloodthirsty beasts.

Not everything is lost, because during the game we take on the role of characters who, as the titular knights chosen by the goddess Veda, must once again try to free the world from torment.

Mechanics

In ASTRA: Knights of Veda we watch the action from a bird's eye view. During the game, we complete quests and take part in various events that take us to locations inspired by medieval Europe, and along the way we mainly face opponents.

The game provides us with a range of characters varied in terms of fighting style, preferred weaponry, and combat skills. On the battlefield, we must skillfully juggle the abilities of the Knights of Veda and make good use of their strengths, performing quick dodges and combining attacks into impressive combos.

All sorts of monsters stand in our way. Although ordinary adversaries do not pose much of a challenge to us (unless they attack in hordes), we also have to face much more powerful bosses.

As we progress, we develop characters, gather better equipment, and improve the gear we already have. Additionally, we can increase our combat potential through the relics we acquire.

Game modes

ASTRA: Knights of Veda can be played alone or in online multiplayer mode. The game allows us to both cooperate and compete with other players.

Technical aspects

ASTRA: Knights of Veda has two-dimensional graphics in a characteristic manga style, reminiscent of the works of the Vanillaware studio (such as Dragon's Crown or Unicorn Overlord).
