Assassin's Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs

Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs is the second expansion to Assassin’s Creed Origins developed by the creators of the base game – Ubisoft Montreal. In order to work, this DLC requires one to own the base game. Among other platforms, the expansion (together with the base game) is available on PC, PS4 and XONE.

Plot

Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs revolves around a more complex representation of the Egyptian mythology. The story featured in this DLC focuses on the titular curse, which has brought one of the pharaohs back from the world of the dead and has unleashed legendary beasts.

Mechanics

Similarly to the first add-on (The Hidden Ones), the PC, PS4 and XONE release of Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs introduces an entirely new region filled with story-related quests and numerous side quests just waiting for the player to discover. Moreover, the developers have increased the level cap and allowed Bayek to learn entirely new abilities from the development tree.

Technical aspects

Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs can be purchased either as a part of the season pass or separately. The expansion has been based on the same technology as the core game, thus it does not introduce any changes to the audiovisuals.
