The first of three DLCs constituting the additional story campaign for Assassin’s Creed III. The expansion, called The Tyranny of King Washington - The Infamy, shows an alternative version of history. Consumed by the lust for power, George Washington proclaims himself as the king and becomes a brutal tyrant that intends to gain complete control over the country.
Assassin's Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington - The Infamy is the second of the three episodes that make up an additional story for Assassin's Creed III, game released in late 2012 for PC, X360 and etc.. The original production introduced another key chapter in the Assassin's Creed universe, which presents an age-old war between Assassins and Templars. This time the game producers, namely Ubisoft Studios, invited players on a journey to the eighteenth-century North America. The main character is Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor, a Metis, who decides to fight against injustice.
Assassin's Creed III for PC, X360 and etc. presents a fictional story, however, one that is, to some extent, based on historical facts. The Tyranny of King Washington take a little different direction – it offers an alternative version history, in which power-obsessed George Washington attempts to take full control over the United States. The mad ruler pursues his goal by hook or by crook and quickly becomes a blood-thirsty tyrant. Ratonhnhaké:ton does not intend to allow that. Along with the hero you try to stop Washington from destroying the country.
The story was divided into three separate episodes. Each one contains several main story missions, and a lot of side activities (i.e. challenges, side missions, etc.). The pack also brings innovations into very gameplay mechanics, most important of which being new abilities of the hero. In the combat against the army of Washington Connor has to master e.g. Bear Power (increases strength), or Wolf Power (camouflage). You may also find it helpful to make use of Warpaint (improves general statistics) or Alpha of the Pack (summons a wolf pack).
