Mechanics
Asphalt Xtreme leaves asphalt roads far behind, and introduces a new environment – off-road racing. We can participate in races taking place on deserts, canyons, forests, or even swamps. The list of available tracks includes glaciers, jungles, or even a steelworking plant.
There are 35 vehicles available, divided into seven categories. Among them, we can find off-road jeeps, trucks, monster trucks, or buggies. All of these cars are virtual versions of real models, thanks to licenses from such companies as Jeep, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Predator, Dodge, or Chevrolet. The ability to modify the visuals, as well as the performance of the vehicles allows substantial customization.
The driving model leans considerably towards arcade style, which a sort of a tradition of this series. The cars rush along with head-dizzying speed, and often do air evolutions, which in real circumstances would end up with the driver’s demise. As if this wasn’t enough, the maps are full of destructible objects.
The game offers five different gameplay modes, and this set is further complemented by hundreds of special events and challenges.
Game Modes
Asphalt Xtreme for PC, AND and etc. offers a singleplayer mode where we face AI-controlled enemies, and a multiplayer component for up to eight players.
