A heavily expanded re-edition of Asphalt 9: Legends, an arcade racing game offered in a free-to-play model. Asphalt Legends Unite features upgraded graphics, new modes (including an asymmetric co-op competition), cross-play function and an improved interface.

Novelties in Asphalt Legends Unite

Asphalt Legends Unite is a game that in a way replaces Asphalt 9: Legends - developers from the Gameloft studio describe it as an "extension" of the original, released in 2018 in a free-to-play model with microtransactions. In essence, this is partly a free add-on (or a major update), and partly a new installment of the skill-based car racing series, which was launched in 2004 on portable devices.

Gameplay

Asphalt Legends Unite does not change the basic gameplay formula typical of the series. The core of the fun is still very arcade racing with licensed supercars and picturesque routes in various corners of the globe. It also offers various boosters for driving faster, making huge jumps with acrobatics and ramming each other at dizzying speeds.

The vehicles we own in the game can be modified both visually and mechanically, increasing their performance. We can play alone or in online multiplayer mode. The online part of the game allows players to join clubs.

Novelties in Asphalt Legends Unite

For the purpose of Asphalt Legends Unite, Gameloft studio has modernized its graphics engine, which primarily resulted in improved lighting and reflections. The visual refresh of the game also includes a thoroughly redesigned interface, including a new garage screen.

Another significant change is the list of available forms of entertainment. An asymmetric multiplayer mode with an emphasis on cooperation has been added, in which a 3-person Security team is pursuing and trying to eliminate the fleeing 5-person Syndicate team.

The new gameplay variant is accompanied by the introduction of cross-play, which allows users of different platforms to play together, as well as the implementation of a friends list and private lobbies in multiplayer mode.
