Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 PS2

Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 is the official continuation of the game, which was released in 2000. As was the case with the first part, the game was also released on several much older hardware platforms, namely the first generation of PlayStation and Nintendo 64. So, as expected, Sarge's Heroes is definitely not impressive in terms of the quality of the audio-visual setting. It is also one of the least made elements of this game. The environment is very poor in detail. Also not to be overlooked is the limited animation of the characters on the screen (including the player-controlled character). The production and release of Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2 is the responsibility of the no longer existing 3DO concern.

This product is a simple shooter in which the main character is observed from the perspective of a third person. Due to the fact that we are dealing with the Army Men universe, plastic models of soldiers take part in subsequent fights. Unlike many other games in this series, in which we usually fought in the vicinity of some house, this time it was decided to prepare other locations. This could be, for example, a cemetery or ruins. During the game we can play in one of two different characters. Apart from the title Sarge, it may also be Vicki's reporter. The choice of a character has practically no influence on the course of the game.

The game is almost entirely based on the need to eliminate the enemies appearing on the screen. The manufacturer has prepared a total of sixteen more or less complex levels. The player uses a variety of weapons in the course of the game. These include rifles (machine and sniper rifles), shotguns or flame throwers. In some missions you can also count on the support of computer-controlled allies. Sarge's Heroes 2 has a fully fledged multiplayer for two people. Players can play in cooperation mode or play against each other.
