Archer MacLean's Pool, as the name suggests, focuses on a much more popular variety of billiards (especially in our country) and much easier than the elite Snooker. You can choose between the so-called "eight" and two varieties of the "nine". We can compete on our own (we can choose from twenty opponents with different skills), with a friend at one table or take part in a big tournament where you can set up to eight players. Although the latter mode seems to be the most interesting, it is by far the most time-consuming. For this reason, the producer has introduced the option of recording and playing the game state, so that we can continue the game from any moment. Like Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker, this product also gained great popularity among fans of computer billiards, mainly thanks to full control over the camera, freely floating over the table. The player can rotate it freely, zoom in and out in order to make better use of the possibilities of hitting the balls. In addition, the game has a powerful arsenal of the ability to cling to the impact. Turning the ball, boosting the ball and the option to show the shot line allows you to plan the action accurately. If we add to this the option of lubricating the tip of the stick with chalk, which is not only cosmetic in nature, we will have a full picture of a perfect simulation of billiards.
