Virtual Pool by Celeris is a computer simulation of a billiard game. As beginner adepts of pocketing balls we will get to know the game from the theoretical side. The programme is accompanied by short films explaining what, how and why happens in this sport.
In the world of Virtual Pool we compete with the greatest billiard celebrities from all over the world. This title offers us a variety of game variations such as eight, nine or Straight. For less advanced players it is possible to choose a training session. In this case, the hints displayed on the monitor screen will be helpful.
The great realism of the game is due to the involvement of mathematicians and physicists in the work on the project. Virtual Pool guarantees that the ball will go where it would go in the real world. Details such as rubbing the tip of the stick with a special chalk to reduce slippage have also been fine-tuned. Choosing the place where the white ball is to be hit we get the overclocking effect.
When preparing to shoot, we have a number of cameras at our disposal. Changing the view settings we will reach every nook and cranny of the table in order to prepare for the best possible preparation for the winning stroke. If something goes wrong, we can analyze the incident and find our own mistakes.
In this title, entertainment is diversified by introducing the option of a multiplayer game via the Internet or a local network.
